Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!!!
i’m back with lots of photos.
cny eve was last minute touching up. my papa spent the whole day outside painting all the flower pots GOLD with his left over paint after re-painting my house door. look at his diy works. the golden pineapple display on top of the tv is simply a WOW! nice nice. the plant was also decorated by him.
got my “ya sui qian” from my parents and the night was tv-ing after reunion dinner, watching the countdown programme.
chu 1 was house visiting. this year cny was bad cause my mama’s side cannot give out red packets as my maternal grandpa just passed away not long. went to visit my paternal grandma and went my cousin’s house just below my grandma.
my cousin got 3 chinchillas. super cute! didn’t manage to snap pictures of the trio cause he said that they are nocturnal animals. nonetheless, he still manage to wake one up and let me hold the pet. it’s so soft. the best thing is that it won’t bite. one chinchilla cost about $500+. GOSH. i admire him for having the time to look after them.

visit to the temple in the late afternoon. there was the 12 zodiac animals there so i started to take pictures again.

more camwhoring with my didi in the car along the way to pizza hut for dinner. i decided to take funny shots as i was bored. look at his expressions. all the same. LOUSY.
chu 2 was temple visit again. my papa is a loyal devotee to buddhism so it’s always temple and temple to offer thanks to the gods during cny. it’s always a must to go Shuang Lin temple during the 2nd day to seek blessings for the new year.
i’m in love with the big pond of flowers over there. it’s so nice with the big lotus flower.
we decided to go the “Sentosa Flowers 2008″ but after a hard time locating the place after driving in and an about 30mins squeeze over there, we decided to leave the place. there were simply too many people over there and so many indians! GRR~ my mama was like whining how come so many indians, macham happy deepavali instead of cny.
there were lots of nice floral display good for camwhoring but because of the big crowd, we decide to leave the place. it’s DAMM crowded until if you want to take a picture with a certain flower display, you need to queue up for your turn. *FAINTS*
the event will be on until feb 17. anyone to go sentosa with me maybe next monday? hopefully the crowd will be smaller when all the adults resume work and all the indians have no more holidays.
chu 3 was movie marathon. i watched “CJ7″ on youtube and vivo for “Ah Long Pte Ltd” and “Kung Fu Dunk”.
i rate it 3 out of 5 stars!
this movie wasn’t as bad as i thought it might be. don’t be mislead by the trailer. at first i didn’t want to watch the movie because of the lame trailer but NO! the movie isn’t as lame as what the trailer show. i love the green alien dog! so cute. hope outside got sell the key chain of the alien dog. i want to get it!!!

it’s not really the best of jack neo’s work this time but fann wong and mark lee acting is commendable. actually i kind of dislike mark lee’s for his rude way of talking on tv but after watching the movie, it kind of change my image of him a little.
i rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars!
the movie theatre wasn’t fully packed as i thought it might be. for a moment i thought we entered the wrong hall. jay chou’s fake watermelon-like hair wig is ugly but apart from that, i thought i would still rate the movie a little higher than CJ7 because jay chou rocks. there are a lot of guest stars appearance in this movie so keep a look out for them.
lots of snacking on unhealthy cny goodies everyday. be sure to drink more water cause water acts as a body purifier by removing toxins and waste on your body.
